Management [Project #2621B], 2003
Energy is a significant
portion of the cost of water and wastewater treatment. The
American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the AWWA Research
Foundation (AWWA-RF) assembled a consortium of 24 utilities
across the U.S. to participate in a benchmarking study about
energy management. The 185-page report and tools, including
benchmark guide and survey forms, is included in the 2004 report
entitled "Best Practices for Energy Management". It is available
to both members and non-members for a fee.
Please see AWWA's
Bookstore on their website to order a copy of the report.
